“The best kept secret in Fort Wayne!”  We have had customers tell us this for a number of years. It’s a great place to bring your family or friends for lunch or for dinner - a casual atmosphere, accommodating servers, and great food at a reasonable price.

Food
We feature a variety of pastas, Italian specialty dinners, prime rib, fish, pizza, sausage rolls, 40 different sandwiches, luscious salads, a children’s menu, a senior menu, and dessert. Our prices range form $2.95 to $15.95 with an average price of $5 for lunch and $8 for dinner.  We serve beer, wine, liquor and soft drinks. We have a bar room, as well as our family dining room.

Events
The Venice has a number of specialty events. German night is held on the third Friday of every month. We feature a German menu, with beef rouladen, weinerschnitzel, brats and sauerkraut, red cabbage, German potato salad, potato dumplings and Black Forest cake. It is served as a plated meal every month except October, when we have a buffet with all of these items and more. Entertainment is provided by George Berger on the accordion with a sing-a-long.

The Venice has a large St. Patrick’s Day Party every year on March 17. We serve corned beef and cabbage and green beer all day and night. Jack Alexander and his band play all of your Irish favorites. The bagpipes stop by around 6 p.m. You can dress in green, sing a long, dance the jig, drink green beer, or just watch the shenanigans. It’s a fun, fun day at The Venice.

The Venice also has karaoke every Saturday night from 9 until midnight with Linda and Jim. Stop by and sing your best rendition of your favorite song. 

We also host a variety of events thoughout the year.  We have a chicken barbecue, a couple of old-fashioned picnics, a Mexican fiesta and a Mardi Gras party. Sports of some kind can be seen on the TV everyday.  We try to have something for everyone.

Full Catering Menu
The Venice also offers a full catering service for weddings, graduations, baptisms, office parties, Christmas parties, or any special occasion. We serve hors d’oeuvres, sandwiches, pizza, breakfast, lunch or dinner, either sit-down or buffet style. We can provide servers and bartenders. Call us for details.
